of Wyoming
PhD, 1979. Economic Geology. Michigan Technological University.
M. Sc., 1977, Regional and Economical Geology, Federal University of Rio
de Janeiro (UFRJ).

RESEARCH INTEREST
Precambrian iron information;
Mn formation;
Sn-Ta-Nb-Li-Be pegmatites;
Imperial topaz and diaspore deposits.
RESEARCH PROJECTS
ü
My research focuses the metamorphism of the Proterozoic Itabira iron formation
and the Mn formation of the Barbacena Greenstone Belt in terms of mineral
equilibria and fluid composition. Genetic study of the imperial topaz
and diaspore deposits of the Ouro Preto district and the Sn-Ta-Nb-Li-Be
pegmatites of the São João del Rey province are also of
interest.
